Twin pipes

Twin pipes are a space-saving and energy-efficient solution where both the supply and return pipes run parallel within a common outer casing. This system is particularly well-suited for urban environments and installations with limited space, where reduced trenching and fewer welds are advantageous.

The pipes are manufactured in standard lengths of 6, 12, or 16 meters, with dimensions ranging from DN20 to DN200. They can also be supplied as cut pipes or curved pipes, depending on the project’s requirements. This provides flexibility during both design and installation.

Each twin pipe consists of two steel medium pipes, insulated with polyurethane foam (PUR) and enclosed by a PEH jacket (PE100). The insulation is offered in series 1, 2, and 3, allowing for customization of insulation thickness to meet energy requirements, ground conditions, and operational parameters.

The system complies with the applicable standards for district heating and combines excellent thermal performance with ease of handling in the field. Twin pipes are an efficient choice for projects that require both functionality and cost-effectiveness.
